I am Yuwen Ding, came from Suzhou, Jiangsu, a delicate and gentle southern city in China. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Illustration from OCAD University. I am an artist who believes that all ordinary things can be transformed into meaningful art. I love everything cute and excel at finding inspiration from life, with the ability to turn simple ideas into visual stories. With a background in tattoos and illustration, I have created many pieces that combine beauty with personal meaning and stories.
I've always cherished the pure love for painting I had 15 years ago during my early years of artistic education. One afternoon, without school or extracurricular classes, I spent eight hours straight doodling in my mom's office. I still vividly remember the excitement I felt when I saw a stack of A4 printer paper and a regular ballpoint pen. I still hope that all my work is driven by this same passion—whether it's a delicate tattoo symbolizing precious memories, a complete illustration that carries a mission, or... those things that may seem meaningless but are undeniably cute. In fact, I want to say that all art has its meanings! So feel free to share your ideas anytime!
In the near future, I will run my own comprehensive art studio: a warm, highly inclusive, women-friendly space focused on personalization. I'm looking forward to collaborating with publishers, cultural creatives, and independent brands to bring your stories to life through art.
